About Our Scout Group

1stforrestfieldbadge

The 1st Forrestfield Scout Group is based in the Kalamunda District, WA Branch of Scouts Australia.

From 1970? until today, our scout hall has been located at Hartfield Park, Forrestfield.

The Forrestfield Scout Group Scarf

Every scout group has its own colour combination for its scarf.

Ours is green for the forest and yellow for the fields.

The scarf is an essential part of the scout uniform, and almost constitutes a tool in itself.

Among its many uses, it can be used to signal, as a mouth mask, a belt, a blindfold, a tump line, a bag, a bandage and, of course, to identify the wearer as a member of the 1st Forrestfield Scout Group.

You can read all about the scout scarf here: http://www.inquiry.net/uniforms/neckerchief/uses.htm.

The Forrestfield Scout Group Badge

Every scout group also has its own badge or logo that is used on uniforms flags and correspondence.

Ours is green for the forest and yellow for the fields.
